Meg
Hi, I'm Megan, the human behind Meg's Mutts! Animals have been a part of my life since before I was born. I basically grew up on our family ranch, where there was never a shortage of furry (and sometimes not-so-furry) friends. From dogs and horses to bunnies, cats, and a few surprise critters along the way, caring for animals has always been second nature to me.
These days, I have a Frenchie sidekick who believes every person and dog is a potential best friend—and honestly, he's not wrong.
Before starting Meg's Mutts, I spent years as a nanny, which naturally included taking care of the family's pets, too. Somewhere along the way, I realized my dream job is spending my days with four-legged friends and giving pet parents peace of mind.
Whether your pup needs a walk, some playtime, or a loving companion while you're away, I treat every pet like they're one of my own—with plenty of belly rubs, cuddles, and care (and yes, probably a few conversations, too).
Because at Meg's Mutts, your best friend becomes part of my pack.

Hi! I’m Brittnee. I’m a lifelong animal lover and enjoy spending time with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cuddles on the couch, I love helping pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away.

Janessa
Hi, I’m Janessa! I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, growing up with everything from dogs and cats to birds and reptiles. Caring for animals has always been a passion of mine.
Today, I have two cats and two parrots of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. When I pet sit, I treat every animal like family, making their comfort, safety, and routine my top priorities. My goal is to give both pets and their owners peace of mind while they’re away, knowing they are in good hands!

Pet Sitting
During pet sitting, we will come and stay in your home with your pet(s). Each stay comes with one 30 min walk / day (additional walks
available as an add-on), feedings, lots of cuddles and play time. We are also happy to collect mail and take out your trash cans during this
time if needed. If you have any additional small pets (fish, hamsters etc) please let us know as an additional fee will be added for care.
Please note that we will need to leave for a few hours here and there, no longer than 3-4 hours at a time, but they will NEVER be left
alone overnight. If you require 24/7 care - additional time will need to be scheduled.
Please understand that Megan cannot care for reptiles as she has a crippling fear of them, sorry in advance!

Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation within 14 days days of the scheduled appointment will be charged 25% of the appointment price.
Any cancellation within 7 days of the scheduled appointment will be charged 50% of the appointment price.
Any cancellation within 5 days of the scheduled appointment will be charged 100% of the appointment price.
Holiday Policy
Any dog sitting booked during the Holidays will be assessed a $15 surcharge per day to show appreciation to those working during those dates.
Dog Walking
During a scheduled walk, we'll take your pup for a walk around your neighborhood on leash for either 30 or 60 min depending on the appointment you booked. Please note that this time includes the time it takes to leash up and also drop off your pup. If you are wanting them walked for a full 30 / 60 min, please make sure you add additional time to the booking. We promise to give them the most, just know there are some days it may take longer than other days.

Any cancellation with less than 24 hours notice of the scheduled appointment will be charged 100% of the appointment price.

During a drop-in, we will arrive at your home and let your pup out for a potty break / play time in your yard or on leash if you don't have a fenced yard, and then feeding and changing their water if needed. We will also spend time caring for your pet. This can include feeding, giving medications, lots of cuddles and treats. If you are needing a walk during this time, please schedule using the walk option.

Any cancellation within 72 hours of the scheduled appointment will be charged 100% of the appointment price.
Holiday Policy
Any drop in booked during the Holidays will be assessed a $10 surcharge per day to show appreciation to those working during these dates.

"I travel often for work and when I do, Meg has cared for all of my Frenchies, including my new puppy and they all love her!! "I have been utilizing the services of Megan and Janessa for several years now. My little 13-year-old Shih Tzu, MiLing, just loves them and I do too. MiLing is a very special-needs dog. Four different eye meds, two different allergy pills, all twice a day. Not to mention her special food prep. Not a problem for Megan or Janessa. They stay with her for the majority of the day and MiLing has been known to go to a family party or two with these gals, which by the photos, she has a great time! I use overnight services and they always leave my home cleaner than they found it! I only trust my precious old girl to Megan and Janessa and I highly recommend them for any dog-sitting needs."

"Finding someone we trust with our dogs is no small task. We have two high-energy breeds, one of whom can be reactive around other dogs, and because our dogs are truly part of our family, we’re very selective about who cares for them when we’re away. Megan exceeded every expectation. Not only did she take fantastic care of our boys, but by the end of her stay she had somehow turned them into complete Velcro dogs. "Megan has been great with our dog, Coop! She has been especially wonderful because he is very reactive around other dogs and can definitely be a handful. When they are on walks, she advocates for him and makes sure he is as comfortable as possible.
